Engine Line

The fire trucks of Sister Bay Liberty Grove Fire Department are more than machines - they are part of the rhythm of the town. From the sirens responding to a call to the slow roll down Highway 42 for the Fall Fest parade, those engines always turn heads.

With Engine Line, I wanted to capture that feeling: the bright red body, the flash of gold trim, the streaks of white and black hoses and ladders all in motion. I used a faster pull on this piece: tight, deliberate lines meant to mimic momentum, like light bouncing off metal as the trucks cruise past.

It’s not about fire. It’s about pride. It’s about speed. And it’s about those moments when everyone stops what they’re doing to watch something powerful roll through town.
