There’s a moment right before the sun drops behind the horizon in Sister Bay where everything goes red. Not soft red - fiery, electric, impossible-to-ignore red. The boats are still, the sky’s glowing, and everything feels like it’s holding its breath. That’s the moment I tried to capture here.

The flow in Sister Bay Sundown pushes upward, like heat lifting off the water. I pulled those oranges and whites to flare outward, layering darker edges underneath like shadows creeping in. The hexagon shape gave it even more energy. It’s compact, but charged.

This isn’t a quiet sunset. It’s one of those nights where the sky demands your full attention.
