Daylight Bloom

This piece is part of a quiet experiment: what happens when you hold the same form up to different light? Daylight Bloom is the mirror to a piece I made called Midnight Bloom. Same pull, same structure, but set against a backdrop of light instead of darkness.

I let the white epoxy carry most of the space here, with layered black and gold flowing outward like sun-warmed petals. It reminds me of those high-contrast mornings after fresh snow, where the shadows feel sharp and everything is clean, bold, and awake.

The gold at the base isn’t just warmth - it’s purpose. Like something rooted. Something reaching. This is the version of the bloom that opens all the way.
