Harborburst

This one’s pure celebration. Harborburst came from the energy of standing on the Sister Bay docks during the Freedom Fest fireworks: lights reflected on the bay, people shoulder to shoulder, cheers and color bouncing off the water.

I wanted the center of the piece to feel like an explosion - white, red, and gold pulled upward like sparks rising. Around the edges, I let the darker blues and metallics swirl and ripple, like water catching the echo of all that movement.

This piece isn’t subtle. It’s about that moment where everything goes off at once and you don’t look away. Color, light, sound, joy - held in flow.
